Orrie, what are you doing? C’mom, Es is taking us to the park.

ORRIE:

I looking for Herita.

BRYNIE:
Herita? What would she be doing here?
She was sent away a long time ago.

ORRIE:
I talked to her yesterday.

BRYNIE:
On the phone?

ORRIE:
No Brynie, in the window seat.

BRYNIE:
Herita in the window seat,
yeah, like that could happen.

KARANTHIR:
What was that about Herita?

BRYNIE:
Get this - Orrie said he talked to her yesterday. Isn’t that the

craziest? Now c’mon Orrie, we don’t want to make Es wait for us. 

 

KARANTHIR:
Perhaps he did, in fact, speak with Herita.
Didn’t you read Daprima’s text this morning? 

BRYNIE:
How could I when Fin won’t let me have my own
cell phone? Hey, I know -  I’ll bet if you talked to
him and told him how much I need one …

KARANTHIR:
Nice try, but I’m not getting in between you and our
dear brother. You’ll have to fight that battle on your  
own. Now run along. I need to speak to Orrie.

BRYNIE:
OK but make it fast, ‘cause Es …

KARANTHIR:
… is taking you to the park. Yes I heard. Let her know that
I’m with Orrie and he’ll be along momentarily. 

KARANTHIR:
… Orrie my boy, come here.

KARANTHIR:
… Now what’s this about you talking to Herita?

ORRIE:

What you want to know?

KARANTHIR:
Tell me everything.

ORRIE:
She was in the window seat. I had to get real close to see
her ‘cause she was hiding, but she couldn’t fool me.

KARANTHIR:
I should think not. You’re much too clever for her.
Can you tell me how she was hiding?

ORRIE:
She was in ‘Meo’s doll, and she didn’t like being in there either.

KARANTHIR:
One would assume it would be pretty uncomfortable in there.

ORRIE:
Yup.

KARANTHIR:
And this took place yesterday afternoon? 

ORRIE:
Yup.

KARANTHIR:
Then I did feel her … And since he didn’t get the text, how  else
would he know about Herita and Cammeo’s doll? Hmmm …

ORRIE:

KARANTHIR:

Nope. She got out of Charlotte and
I couldn’t see her no more. 

ORRIE:
…Then I got a cookie. Can I have a cookie now?

KARANTHIR:
I don’t see why not.

BRYNIE:
Karanthir, Es wants to know if she can put
Lithium in his car seat?

KARANTHIR:
Yes she can. 

KARANTHIR:
… Here, you go, have the whole box.

ORRIE:
That mean we done?

KARANTHIR:
We done. Do remember to share those cookies.
